Dayton H10RW
Manufacturers Info
Brand: Dayton Audio
Model: H10RW
Style: ---
Coverage: 75 Degrees
Minimum Frequency: 1600 Hz
Throat: 1"
Mounting Type: 1-3/8"-18 TPI
Dimensions: 10" Round x 5" Deep
Additional Notes:
Symmetrical waveguide, only tested on a single axis.
Horn throat is too large leading to a driver exit/throat mismatch which I have noticed on most of the Dayton horns/waveguides.
Measurements:
Test Notes: Off axis and polars measured using a Celestion CDX1-1731
Mic distance 1m, measurements gated at 5ms and are smoothed at 1/48 Octave.

Polar Response - Normalized to On Axis

Final Notes:
Dispersion of this waveguide appears to roughly match the rated 75 degrees. Like the H08RW the throat diameter mismatch hurts performance in the top octave though it's not quite as bad here. This waveguide does exhibit some widening in the 3-6k range where there is a slight on axis depression. When this is present moving the design or reference axis to around 10 degrees off center helps improve uniformity as seen in the graphs below.
Horizontal Off Axis Response - Normalized to 10 degrees off axis
Polar Response - Normalized to 10 degrees off axis
